Prior to working at Nat Geo, she was a fashion and lifestyles editor at the Washington Post, a consumer advocacy specialist at Consumer Checkbook, and a travel editor at WHERE Washington magazine. Her work has also appeared in Travel + Leisure, USA Today, Washingtonian Magazine, and many other publications.

Jennifer Billock is an award-winning writer, bestselling author, and writing coach, generally covering some ‎combination of food, travel, and history. She edits the Kitchen Witch Newsletter and teaches food and travel writing classes. She is currently dreaming of an around-the-world trip with her Boston terrier.
