Peripheral Visions and Other Stories

LITERARY SHORT FICTION COLLECTION—In PERIPHERAL VISIONS AND OTHER STORIES, the characters choose to play the best game they can with the cards they’ve received. For some, it’s making the most of the circumstances in which they find themselves, even if it’s not the life they planned. For others, it’s following an unconventional path–not the easiest course or the one that others would take, but the one that’s right for them. From humorous to serious, the characters in these twenty stories experience a range of human emotions—from fear, grief and regret to courage and acceptance—all while believing that life will get better if they can just hold on and stay strong.

Living the Writing Life podcast

Living the Writing Life is a podcast for and about writers—the business side and the creative perspective—and how our life experiences intersect with our writing work. How we do it, why we do it, and what keeps us going as we navigate the creative environment. Because, published or not, wildly popular or still unknown, we are all writers.

Reinventing Rita—A Midlife Moxie Novel

REINVENTING RITA is a lighthearted, contemporary novel about Rita Reynolds, a midlife woman who realizes that she has to stop coasting through life and find her inner moxie to pursue her almost-forgotten dream of being a professional baker. But can she overcome her fear that, at fifty, it might be too late for a fresh start? With the help of her friends, including her employer Donna and her ex-husband's second wife Karen, she's about to find out.
