M Carolyn Miller

Carolyn is an award-winning writer and narrative/instructional designer whose skillset spans both journalism and content marketing. She brings her “game brain,” love of learning, and deep knowledge of story to the content she produces, and its ability to change how audiences think, feel and act.

Key Capabilities

Drawing on her 30-year career as a writer and designer, Carolyn uses narrative, visual and/or interactive treatments to tell her tales, working in partnership with clients both behind the scenes and on site. A generalist, Carolyn has worked in multiple industries, with a special fondness for associations and nonprofits.

Called the Story Lady by her clients, Carolyn’s skill lies not only in the craft of story-making, but also in her ability to evoke deeper, more universal themes that remind her audiences of their heroism.

Your Move

Story is the oldest form of education. It is alchemy and mythology, meaning-maker and guide. In the hands of an artisan, it is also emotional abracadabra. The next time you employ the power of story, ask yourself if the tale you are telling, or living, harnesses this power.

If not, contact Carolyn for guidance. www.cultureshape.com
