Heather Teysko

Heather Teysko has been mixing entrepreneurship and libraries since 2002, when she began working for a startup online music company sold to libraries. She has worked with libraries and library consortia for over two decades, focusing on technology and ebooks, and has been part of the launch of dozens of new library vendors in her role as the assistant director of California’s largest library consortium.

Nick Milazzo

After studying chemistry and biochemistry at Middlebury College as an undergraduate, Nick earned a master’s degree in medical science and public health from the University of Vermont. He is fascinated by the art and science of human improvement, especially as seen through the lenses of medicine, nutrition, fitness, and mindfulness. His Examine duties include analyzing research data and overseeing the creation and updating of Examine’s intervention and topic pages.

Millie Ho

Millie has a business degree and a background in strategy and web agencies. Her interest in evidence-based health information led her to Examine, where she enjoys getting hands-on with tasks big and small and helping the team excel.

Darcy Lewis, Moderator

Darcy Lewis, ASJA Board Secretary, writes about health and medicine from Chicago. A former National Cancer Reporting Fellow, she met Examine co-founder Sol Orwell at the Association of Health Care Journalists’ 2023 annual meeting.
