Victoria Clayton

I’m a writer and columnist in the Los Angeles area. Among the outlets I’ve written for: The Guardian US, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Forbes, MSNBC/NBC.com, California Health Care Foundation and several university publications. Besides reported stories, I’ve written scripts, essays, blog posts, white papers and more. I’ve also co-authored a women’s health book and contributed to several other books. I teach as an ajunct professor and I lead writing and expressive arts workshops — most recently for The Huntington in Pasadena, CA. I have an MA from Missouri School of Journalism and I’m a 2025 University of Southern California Center for Health Journalism National Fellow. My work has also been supported by the journalism nonprofit The Economic Hardship Reporting Project. I’m a longtime yoga and meditation practitioner. I write fiction and have had several pieces publsihed in literary journals.
