Jessica Farthing

As an experienced freelance journalist, Jessica has written articles for BBC Travel, Insider, Business Insider, Eating Well, Eat This, Not That, YourTango and many other publications in print and online. She focuses on subject matter related to food, health and wellness, travel and lifestyle but has written on everything from teen driving instructions to climate change.

Before she pursued her lifelong passion of writing, Jessica received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology, worked as a personal chef and caterer and taught preschool. She began to provide marketing services for her family’s medical supply business and discovered that you could actually write for your day job. Now, Jessica works full time as a writer and a lifelong learner, happily researching the articles that she’s asked to produce.

When Jessica’s not writing, she’s usually on the water with her family or riding her horses, Henry and Limerick. She’s always packed a book if she’s out of the house.

After accumulating years worth of freelancing experience, Jessica decided to write a few books aimed at beginning freelancers. You can sign up to recieve information on these as well as a few fiction efforts on her website – https://www.jessicafarthing.com/ .
