Irvina Lew’s newest book is Forays in France: A FLAVORFUL MEMOIR; she is an author and contributor to a number of books and a multitude of niche magazines and websites. Much of her recent work is posted on irvinalew.com, foraysinfrance.com, Muck Rack, Trav Media and @sipsupstayspa. As an award-winning freelance food and travel writer, she specializes in art & culture, food & wine, heritage & history, spa & wellness articles that feature luxury international and domestic venues. She’s been a member of ASJA since 1991 and served as Secretary and Membership Chair, New York region, in its day. She’s a member of the Society of American Travel Journalists and a Travel Classics alumnus. Irvina is a widow with three adult daughters and two granddaughters, who has always lived on Long Island. She is also a lifetime Francophile, retired French, Spanish and ESL public school teacher and was National Spokesperson for the ZIploc and the Contadina National media campaigns.
