Heather Mundt was born and raised in Colorado. Specializing in outdoor/adventure/family travel, her work has appeared in several publications, including National Geographic, TripSavvy, SmarterTravel, Outdoor Families Magazine, The Denver Post, 5280.com, TravelAge West/Family Getaways, Colorado Parent magazine, and Colorado Ski Country USA. She lives in the same city where she was raised, Longmont, with her husband, Michael, two sons, Brody and Colin, and two huskies, Tasha and Boris.
