Erin O'Donnell

A long-time freelancer and former magazine editor, Erin O’Donnell writes about science and health, including topics such as cancer, mental health, and trauma. She recently helped ghostwrite a book on families and stress, and has written recent stories about the increase in colorectal cancer cases among young adults, how social media use can increase depression symptoms in older adults, and how to launch a parent-child book group. She produces content for universities and hospitals, and works as a blog editor for Awake, a community of abuse survivors, concerned Catholics, and allies responding to the wounds of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. She lives with her husband and two sons near Lake Michigan in Milwaukee.
