Brenda Lange

I am a content marketing writer with numerous additional credits as a journalist, who has written for dozens of organizations, newspapers, and magazines. I also am an editor and have worked as editor-in-chief for a group of lifestyle magazines and two alumni publications. In addition, I have written eight books (YA nonfiction). Most recently, I have been a book-length copyeditor and proofreader with an independent publisher in California, as well as for several individual authors.

For more than a decade, I have specialized in working with colleges, universities, independent schools (Tall Ships America, Outward Bound, Miquon School), and nonprofit organizations to produce magazines, newsletters, capital campaigns, marketing and advancement materials, presidents’ speeches, and more. My writing and editing support has helped increase enrollment and retention, donor contributions, community engagement, and goodwill.

I also create custom photography for note cards and prints (brendalangephotos.com). I live in Pennsylvania, north of Philadelphia near the Delaware Water Gap, and in my free time, I volunteer with my community, swim and practice yoga, bike, walk, and travel with my RV. The lights of my life are my three kids and five grandkids.
