Payment Self Help
Even professional freelancers sometimes have to push clients, editors, and publishers for payment.
Paycheck is only as powerful as the information provided by ASJA members. Each and every work experience can help another ASJA member in his or her career, and you can similarly benefit from their reports. Please take a few moments after every completed assignment (after you are paid) to submit the pertinent details about the job. All reports are anonymous unless you choose otherwise. Some entries are published in ASJA Magazine, published quarterly.
To report an experience with a client, start by selecting the project type below. Paycheck is designed for writing and editing assignments only, but you can input experiences with television/movie rights to books/articles that you wrote. Please report only AFTER payment is received.
