The Physiologist Magazine
I have been the award-winning magazine managing editor of this magazine since it launched in 2019. It is published in print and online six times a year for the members of American Physiological Society, who are PhD researchers and trainees.
ReadPublic Health Newswire
I manage the blog (Public Health Newswire) for the American Public Health Association on-site at its annual meeting every fall. I assign, edit and post the articles from a small team of reporters, and I manage the overall process. I started out as one of those reporters, and after a few years I was asked to manage the entire process. I also continue to write a handful of blog posts on-site as needed.
Combating Inflation in Optometry
I write regularly for the American Optometric Association's magazine that goes out six times a year to its optometry members and students. As illustrated in this article, I love combining the topic of business management with health care.
