Buzz is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist who has written for the Chicago Tribune and Philadelphia Inquirer. He is the author of Friday Night Lights, a best-seller that is now a movie scheduled for release October 8, 2004 and, according to Sports Illustrated, the best book ever written about football. Another Hollywood connection: His Vanity Fair article about journalist-plagiarist Stephen Glass became the basis of the movie Shattered Glass.
In addition, Buzz is the author of A Prayer for the City, an exploration of Philadelphia city politics, and he's a contributing editor for Vanity Fair. His writing has also appeared in The Best American Sports Writing 2003. (He even worked as a story editor/writer for one season of NYPD Blue!)
