As the publishing downturn continues, grant applications to the Writers Emergency Assistance Fund (WEAF), ASJA's charity for writers in financial difficulty, have soared by 500% over previous years.

To preserve this vital safety net for freelancers suffering hardship due to illness, disability, old age, or an extraordinary professional crisis, please make a tax-deductible donation using one of these methods:
