National Writers Association Foundation Workshop
DESCRIPTION: The National Writers Association Foundation has announced their day long workshop will be held on June 14, 2008. The workshop will feature three film producers. The day long workshop will feature presentations by each producer, a question and answer session and one-on-one appointments for attendees. The workshop will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Airport at 16475 East 40th Circle, Aurora, Colorado.
A Saturday evening cocktail reception will celebrate the seventy first year of the National
Writers Association’s service to writers where winners of the National Writers
Association contests will be announced.
The workshop is open to the public. Day and cocktail reception rates are available upon
request.

Professional Grant Proposal Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION: The Grant Institute's Grants 101 course is an intensive and detailed introduction to the process, structure, and skill of professional proposal writing. This course is characterized by its ability to act as a thorough overview, introduction, and refresher at the same time. In this course, participants will learn the entire proposal writing process and complete the course with a solid understanding of not only
the ideal proposal structure, but a holistic understanding of the essential factors, which determine whether or not a program gets funded. Through the completion of interactive exercises and activities, participants will complement expert lectures by putting proven
techniques into practice. This course is designed for both the beginner looking for a thorough introduction and the intermediate looking for a refresher course that will strengthen their grant acquisition skills. This class, simply put, is designed to get results by creating professional grant proposal writers.

Creativity Workshops
DESCRIPTION: The Creativity Workshop uses Writing, Drawing, Storytelling, and Memoir
as tools to explore and develop creativity. The Workshop is designed to help you find new sources of inspiration, break through creative blocks, take pleasure in your imagination, give yourself the permission, time, and encouragement to do creative work, and develop a daily practice to accomplish these goals. The workshop was founded in 1993 and it has
helped individuals from all backgrounds and experiences explore the uniqueness of their imagination in all endeavors. We teach from the point of view that people are by nature creative and that creativity, like DNA, is different in each individual.
