The American Society of Journalists and Authors Presents Annual Writing Awards
March 18, 2008, New York – The American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) will recognize members on April 11, 2008 for their exemplary work and/or commitment to the organization and the profession. The awards will be made at an evening social function in conjunction with the organization's annual writers' conference in New York City. More than 1,275 independent writers of magazine articles, trade books and other forms of nonfiction writing form ASJA, the nation's leading organization of professional nonfiction writers founded in 1948.
