2012 Annual Awards Submission Procedures
RULES FOR ALL AWARD SUBMISSIONS
Deadline: End of business day (5:00pm Eastern) January 13, 2012
All articles and books considered for an award must have been published in 2011 unless otherwise noted.
You may enter a maximum of three articles. The works may be entered in the same category, or in different categories. There is a three-book limit on book entries. Unless otherwise noted, entries may be self-nominated or nominated by someone else. (The majority of entries are self-nominated and do receive full consideration.)
Each entry can be nominated in only one category.
All entries are judged by the ASJA Awards Committee. It is up to the judges to determine whether there is a winner in any particular category.
All winners will be notified approximately one month prior to the awards presentation event.
Articles
All articles must be in PDF format and uploaded through the online submission process. We will not accept paper submissions.
ARTICLES ARE JUDGED BLINDLY (except for the Arlene Awards). Please make sure the article itself does not have a byline or any reference to the author within. Judges will receive only the articles submitted; all indentifying details are retained by the office.

Send FOUR copies of the book to the ASJA office, addressed to

The office will confirm receipt of each submission after the books have been received; please follow up if you don't receive confirmation within two business days after the expected arrival date of the books.

To nominate someone for any of these awards, send an email supporting your nomination. The email must include the following information in the following format in the following order:
